WEEKEND PLANS

I can't wait till the weekend. I'm going to finally get to sleep in for once. I haven't able to for a long time. Tonight I plan on going to the game. I hope we beat the other team. Then on Saturday I'm sleeping in and waking up at noon. Sunday I get to go to church with my whole family and see people I've been waiting to see forever. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

To Kill A Mockingbird

I absolutely loved the play yesterday. It was really good. I was surprised that the actors were so good. Even the younger actors were good. I didn't realize the part with the laser beam wasn't part of the play. The actor that played Dill was really smart and made me laugh. I was sad when it was over because I was so into it. I hope that we can see another play soon.

Beneatha's point of view

I don't see why Walter doesn't understand. That is Mama's money and Mama should decide what she wants to do with it. I don't think she's going to let him use that money for a dumb liquor store. I mean how is that going to benefit Mama. If she gives him the money it should be toward something for her too.

I don't want the money. I don't think she would give it to me anyways. I'm going to become a doctor. Doctors make lots of money. Then I wouldn't have to worry about whether Mama is giving me any money or not.
